El símbolo de la capital de España: su escudo, su estatua en la Plaza del Sol, sus misterios…
Realmente no se conoce con certeza la aparición de tal figura en el escudo, variando de unos a otros autores.
Mi definición favorita la dió un humorista y caricaturista:
“El oso, primitivo habitante del país, abrazado a un árbol para impedir que venga un concejal y lo corte”
Por cierto, para nuestra cultura general: no es un oso; es una osa...

Das Symbol der Stadt Madrid.
Es ist zwar sehr unklar wer, wieso und warum, aber hauptsächlich es ist und bleibt sehr neutral, sehr political correct.
Am Sol-Platz ist diese winzige Statue doch einer der wichtigsten Treffpunkte geworden.
Jetzt wisst ihr wo wir uns dort treffen können/sollten/werden!

Le blason d'une ville, capitale de l'Espagne.
Encore que celui-ci n'ait pas une origine très claire.
Plaza del Sol, la petite statue est devenue le point de rendez-vous idéal.
Bref, un incontournable, à voir absolument! On y va?
A bear and a Strawberry-tree
It is the symbol of the city of Madrid, its official blazon.
Nobody really knows why, one of the unsolved questions.
But it seems to fit to the people here.
Also the ideal meeting point when you are in Plaza del Sol: under the statue.
